Integration
CEMS
Ranger Analytics, Inc. provides first class customer service by offering integration of its principals’ products as a value-added service.
Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) are the total equipment necessary for the determination of a gas or particulate matter concentration or emission rate using pollutant analyzer measurements and a conversion equation, graph, or computer program to produce results in units of the applicable emission limitation or standard.
CEMS are used to provide data for compliance with regulatory requirements for the control, monitoring and reporting of pollutant emissions. CEMS can include monitors for a variety of molecular compounds including: CO, CO2, H2S, NO, NO2, SO2, O2, THC, Hg, HCl or Opacity.
CEMS systems are generally monitored by two different approaches. Either in-situ, meaning the measurement is performed in the stack or duct, or extractive, where the gas is removed from the stack or duct and transported to the analyzers.
Extractive CEMS
Extractive CEMS can be straight extractive, utilizing a vacuum pump to draw the sample from the stack to the CEMS; or dilution extractive, where a precision eductor uses very clean air to extract a sample while diluting it, then deliver the sample to the analyzer(s).
The primary equipment and services provided by RAI include: gas analyzers, sample gas conditioning systems, probes, sample lines, calibration gases, data acquisition and reporting systems, CEMS (sole-source suppliers), portable stack gas analyzers and stack testing services.
